The most remarkable thing about THAC is the chance meeting that led to its formation. In 2007, neither Tim nor Faye knew that the other was at Glastonbury Festival, nor that they were destined to meet in the Mad Hatter’s Café on the second day.

It was 7 in the morning, when weary eyes met weary eyes, and pointed fingers outstretched in recognition accompanied bleary astonishment.

Faye spoke first “Tim Hassall.” Tim replied, “Faye Roberts.”
And like that fate was sealed.

It had been five years since they had last seen each other. Both had followed their own separate musical paths, however both were also looking for something bigger, louder and brasher. Something that crossed boundaries and fused styles.

‘Tim Hassall and The August Company’ was born.

In the three years since it’s conception, THAC has gone on to headline the biggest live music venues in Dubai, as well as perform at the SoundCity music festival and Outdoors AUB Festival in Beirut. With a sound that fuses rock n’ roll, blues, reggae, experimental, folk and dance, they craft rhythms and melodies that you can’t help but sing-along and groove to. Bringing these influences together they create an amazing live performance featuring funk guitar, captivating harp solos, honky-tonk keys and inspiring vocals over the top of a pulsating rhythm section.
